Business Advocacy
As an initiative for 2024, the West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce is looking at ways we can be the voice of our business community.
Are there any issues in the community that you need addressed?
Political advocacy is a key objective of the West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce as we strive to identify emerging issues and connect our members with our local political leaders. In an effort to further our advocacy initiatives, we ask that our member businesses and organizations assist us in identifying and defining the issues or barriers that affect our community, whether they be at the municipal, provincial or federal level.
Challenges you could be facing at the municipal level may pertain to local by-laws, zoning permits or community planning. Provincial issues range from social services like health care and education to housing affordability and agriculture policy. Federally, advocacy efforts could address issues such as minimum wage, small business funding, employment insurance, and so on.
